Dissemination

During this first period the HERB Project, as planned, main concerns were all aspects of modeling work, simulation and optimization studies of the concerned Retrofit technologies and solutions and during the same interval works concerning Development and testing of technologies and solutions for retrofitting were initiated.

Dissemination Activities are related with :

a) Disseminating information on the HERB Projects itself, the European Commission’s financial support for such aims and scope, and the expectations aroused out of its successful implementation and execution, and

b) Dissemination information related to its progress , results, and foreseen exploitation as both on the scientific – Research Technology and Innovation – aspects, (RTI) as well as on the exploitation aspects ,its foreseen impact through the exploitation of its Derived commercially exploitable results.

Title : The 12 th International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies, SET2013, [C.2013.1]

Date : 26 th – 29 th August 2013

Subject :

This was an event where work on the HERB project was presented and the EC funded HERB project itself was widely mentioned.

A number of colleagues partners in the HERB project attended, participated and presented relevant scientific work.

SET2013 is a multi–disciplinary international conference on the sustainable energy sources and technologies, and will provide a forum for the exchange of latest technical information, the dissemination of the high-quality research results on the issues, the presentation of the new developments in the area of sustainable energy, and the debate and shaping of future directions and priorities for better environment, sustainable development and energy security. The primary theme of the conference is sustainable energy, not only in engineering and science but also in all other disciplines (e.g. ecology, education, social sciences, economics, management, political sciences, and information technology). Therefore, papers on related topics are solicited from all relevant disciplinary areas, ranging from current problems, projections, new concepts, modeling, experiments and measurements, to simulations
